DIANA NYONKOPAH DANIELS APPEALS TO PRESIDENT MAHAMA TO PAY ATTENTION TO NDC PARTY SUPPORTERS
President of Peace Watch Ghana, Madam Diana Nyonkopah Daniels, has appealed to President John Dramani Mahama to pay greater attention to the concerns of long-standing members and supporters of the National Democratic Congress (NDC).
According to Madam Daniels, during the period when the NDC was in opposition, she, Irene Opare and other party members worked closely with senior party figures, including Hon.
Johnson Asiedu Nketiah, and participated in meetings and activities in support of the party.
She questioned where some individuals were during the difficult periods when party supporters were making sacrifices and facing various challenges.
Madam Daniels said some NDC members made significant sacrifices for the party and that some supporters are currently expressing disappointment and concerns about their circumstances.
She therefore appealed to President Mahama to take note of the concerns of these party members and supporters and ensure that their contributions and sacrifices are not overlooked.
She urged the President to engage with the grassroots and listen to the concerns of those who stood by the NDC during its periods in opposition.
Madam Daniels stressed that recognising and addressing the concerns of loyal party supporters would help strengthen unity and confidence within the party.
