NHYIRABA KWABENA ASIRIFI CRITICISES NPP WOMEN LEADERS OVER DEMONSTRATION AND ALLEGED INSULTS AGAINST GHANA'S FIRST LADIES
Journalist and political commentator Nhyiraba Kwabena Asirifi has criticised NPP women leaders, including former Member of Parliament Hawa Koomson and Akosua Manu, following their demonstration yesterday.
Nhyiraba Kwabena Asirifi questioned the conduct of the demonstrators, describing their actions as hypocritical.
He recalled previous criticisms and alleged insults directed at former First Lady Lordina Dramani Mahama, former First Lady Rebecca Akufo-Addo, former Second Lady Samira Bawumia and Vice President Professor Jane Naana Opoku-Agyemang.
He challenged the NPP women leaders to explain their current position, given their previous comments about these prominent women.
According to him, the demonstration raises questions about consistency in the conduct and public statements of political leaders, particularly when they criticise members of opposing political parties.
He further questioned why the women leaders were now demonstrating, considering their past political actions and statements.
His comments have brought renewed attention to the conduct of political activists and the importance of respectful public discourse in Ghanaian politics.
